What is Qigong?
Qigong (pronounced chee-gung) is a form of movement that improves health by increasing circulation of blood, oxygen, and qi in the body. Qi is the innate energy found in all living things.
The physical movements of qigong open the body's energetic pathways -- called meridians -- enabling qi to flow more freely. As it flows, qi cleans the meridians and improves overall health.
What are the Benefits?
The fluid movements, rhythmic breathing, and meditative nature of qigong can:
